Animal Welfare Professionals

Hello, I am foster volunteer at the Humane Society In Gainesville FL.  I just took the online class through a Maddie’s University on short term foster and day programs such as communty dog walks.  Our community of fosters Is super strong and we have two amazing foster coordinators.  I am hoping we can tap into the resource of being in a large University town (Go Gators!) to recruit students to take the dogs on day trips and/ or group walks.  I am in conversation with our foster coordinator about possibly using foster families to help with this  as well since it’s already a built in resource we have 

Great idea! A lot of organizations are having success combining field trips and college students. It's the perfect combination since they have flexible schedules and most of them are really experienced with social media.
