I recently adopted a kitten and was wondering what I can do to train him not to jump up on the table and attempt to eat food off my plate. I read online that removing him from the table, and keeping him in a room is one way to teach him it’s not ok to eat from my plate. I was just wondering if this is the right approach, and how long it typically takes to train the kitten to leave the food alone

Hi! I've pasted a couple of links to KPA training articles for you below. Better would be to teach your cat what you want her TO do, rather than just what to stop doing.  Cats can be trained with positive reinforcement. :)  Have a read here:
