Hello!  I've tried a search but am not turning up what I'm looking for.  We are looking to hire a Life Saving Manager who will oversee the Health and Behavior Department, Foster Care and possibly intake.  Do any of you have similar positions and would you be willing to share your job descriptions either here or email me directly at
    Thank you so much!

    Hi Kimberly,

Did you check out the Job Opportunities folder in the Resource Library?  I don't see a job description that matches exactly what you're looking for but it may be helpful to piece together a few of those descriptions.

When you open the library, just click on the Job Opportunities folder to see all the descriptions.

I hope this is helpful. Good luck in your search!

Hi Kimberly- sorry I missed this! So as seems to happen at shelters, different roles coexist together within in different job descriptions. I don't have anyone that does all of these things, but I have attached some job descriptions that cover these various responsibilities.

    • Volunteer & Outreach Specialist- they handle rescue, foster & volunteer
    • Asst. Shelter Supervisor- oversees animal care, play group, dog testing for rescues/ transports, etc.
    • Pet Resource Specialist- intake diversion and offering resources to the community, but then does do intake for pets we cannot divert
