Webcast: GoodPup's Free Canine Behavior Webinar Series for Shelters and Rescues

  • 1.  Webcast: GoodPup's Free Canine Behavior Webinar Series for Shelters and Rescues

    Posted 11-10-2021 02:49 PM
GoodPup hosts a monthly webinar that is free and open to all shelter/rescue staff members, volunteers and foster parents.
Below you will find the recordings of the last two GoodPup webinars about canine body language!
You can sign up for our next live webinar here: Dog Training Mythbusters 12/9/21
The topic of the next webinar is: "Dog Training Mythbusters: Positive Reinforcement to the Rescue." It will be held on 12/9/21 at 7 PM EST.
If you work in animal rescue, you've probably encountered some of these dog training myths:
    • Your dog has to know that you are the Alpha
    • You should mess with a dog's food while it is eating
    • If a dog growls at you, you should roll it on its back
    • And many more...
In this upcoming webinar, we will bust these myths and give animal rescue professionals the tools to have conversations about these topics with adopters. We will introduce your team to the science behind positive reinforcement training, and why it is more effective than old fashioned myths! This webinar is free and open to all staff, volunteers and foster parents.

Popping in to say that our shelter has started recommending Good Pup to fosters and adopters. Our fosters are loving it! I highly recommend checking them out!
