On last week's Behavior Job-Alike meeting, I learned about the
awesome cat behavior resources and handouts that
Marin Humane has created. They have a variety of handouts that you can use to give to cat and kitten adopters
and they've even taken some of their popular resources and translated them into Spanish. I've created a library entry here that has all of the Spanish handouts:
https://maddies.fund/3swgkxaI'm also attaching a copy of Marin Humane's New Kitten Handbook.
If you have any other kitten related resources, today is the last day to comment them on this thread to be entered to win a $50 gift card. We will pick a random winner later this week and kick off the next resource drive for March.
Thanks!

Subject: February 2022 Resource Drive: Kitten Season
Kitten season is almost upon us -- let's help each other be successful!
This month, we are holding a resource drive to help you get ahead of the kitten curve. Together we can build a repository of all things cat and kitten-related in the Maddie's Pet Forum Resource Library.
Because each organization's needs may be a little different, we're asking you to engage with this thread in two ways:
1. UPLOAD/SHARE YOUR FAVORITE KITTEN SEASON RESOURCES
Is there a kitten-related video you use that gets tons of attention this time of year or a plea for fosters that works every time? Reply to this thread and attach any files, documents, infographics, handouts, videos, educational/learning opportunities or anything related to kitten season that your organization uses.
Pro-Tips for sharing resources:
- Use the "Upload File" button when replying to this thread to attach a file. We encourage you to attach the file versus hyperlinking to the file whenever possible. Files that are attached to discussion threads are automatically added to the Maddie's Pet Forum Resource Library so attaching helps make the resource searchable and improves accessibility within the forum.
- Yes, you can share resources that your organization did not create. Sharing is caring and this applies to resources too! Make sure the creator allows the resource to be shared publicly and be sure to give credit to the creator or source organization.
2. TELL US WHAT RESOURCES YOU NEED TO HELP YOU DURING KITTEN SEASON
Do you need more videos that teach fosters how to care for orphaned kittens? Or maybe you need a flyer to give to community members when they ask what to do with the litter of kittens they just found under their porch? Reply to this thread with the resources that would help you better serve your community. Be as specific as you can!
🤑 Feeling lucky? 🤑
Everyone who uploads a file or shares a resource on this thread during the month of February will be entered to win a $50 gift card to Amazon, Petco or PetSmart (winner's choice). Start sharing now!
