Hi there!
The shelter I work at does not have a behaviorist/trainer on staff and we are looking into having a more consistent, standardized system for evaluating dogs. We have a general volunteer waiver, but were exploring the idea of having a specific, separate waiver for those who come to perform evaluations since it inherently carries more risk. Of course, the assessments would only be performed by licensed, insured individuals.
Do any shelters/rescues have a specific waiver for assessments or do you just have one standard waiver? Does anyone mind sharing theirs (for either scenario)? Thanks in advance!
