Looking for everything you ever possibly wanted to know about improving your return to home (return to owner) rates? Look no more!

In case you missed it, the HASS (Human Animal Support Services) Lost and Found Working Group has spent months compiling incredible information related to loss pet prevention, strategies for successful reunification and important post reunification efforts your organization can and should be implementing.

Historically, our profession focused minimal efforts on this topic. Today, all of that has changed! The Lost and Found Tool Kit ( https://forum.maddiesfund.org/viewdocument/hass-toolkit-lost-pet-reunificati?CommunityKey=afce7f7a-fd5a-431e-9f2a-aaedc46a03d6&tab=librarydocuments&LibraryFolderKey=1f5e2d26-3b0b-4ec6-afa8-40c1dae50a01&DefaultView=folder) is by far the most comprehensive resource currently available.

Improving lost animal reunification is by far the least costly and easiest approach to increase lifesaving. Getting lost animals back home where they already have a name, a couch and a family that loves them is undoubtedly one of the most rewarding aspects of our work.

Please use this thread to share feedback on the tool kit. If we missed something important, please let us know, it is definitely a living document. If there are any questions, we'd love the opportunity to connect with you!
