Prior to retiring from the Front Street Animal Shelter, we began using Pet Hub tags. Instead of the ugly old metal licenses of the past, we switched to a very modern, hip, peronal logo branded tag that comes with lots of perks. One of the biggest perks was the pricing! The tags also have a QR code, that allows anyone with a smart phone to scan the code and get information about the lost animal. They offer a 24 hour phone number, along with putting your organization's phone number on the tag. They are made out of a material that really minimizes that noise that tags make when they clang together. My dog has been wearing his for years and it is still legible! They are totally cool and pet parents seem to really like them, too. Is anyone out there using this product? We all know that identification is one of the biggest keys to keeping people and pets together. If you haven't heard of them, check it out! PetHub | Modern Pet Identification
If there are other recommendations, let's hear it!

Was there a grant to help cover cost? We can not afford the costs at UCAPS 😔

We did not get a grant, but the pricing was exactly what we were already paying for license tags, so if you have that expense, it's a wash. There are lots of grants out there though that I am sure would work for this. Here is one that is super easy! Maddie's just told Best Friends they were adding another $20K to the pot. Hurry!! Deadline is 9/22, but it's easy.

Do you know if organization can submit as many as want but under one entry or multiple people from same organization? It is a little confusing when it says "You can submit as many stories as you would like".

    Hi Pam,

On yesterday's call, multiple people submitting stories for an organization was encouraged!

Thanks for your response.  We figured it out and we have already submitted a couple and hoping to have more.
