Our shelter and many others take on more than just your typical dogs and cats. At NHS we get livestock, water fowl, reptiles, amphibians, small mammals, fish, you name it. All of these guys we umbrella under the name "Critters". While attempting to update out SOPs for critter care I was searching around on here to see if there was anything on critter care, enrichment, or general education and I didn't really see much. If anyone has resources they would like to share, I would love to see it! Or if anyone is interested in what we have for our shelter I am game to share that as well. Our critters deserve the same level of care and consideration as any other animal that comes through our shelters!
