    Vegas Shepherd Rescue is a small rescue group trying to increase community engagement. The We Foster Challenge and huddle presentations are encouraging us to formally add a short-term foster option like a day field trip or sleep over to our webpage and FB posts.  My question is - does your group use the same foster application, foster contract and liability waiver as for longer term fostering?

    We want to make the process as simple as possible, but still make sure it's done safely.  Any examples would be great :)

    From what I've seen, it's about half and half. I usually recommend that if you can make the forms the same, to do it. You'll always have a portion of short-term fosters turn into longer-term fosters, and it makes it easier for you if this happens, since you wouldn't need to go back and get that second form signed.
