The QR code is something you can scan with your phone's camera and it will bring you directly to the link. With the tiny url you can take a long url and make it smaller so it is easier for people to remember and to type in. We use both tools, because some people may be seeing our flyer from their computer and may not be able to scan the QR code. We use the free version of the both tools. 

I'm curious as to the advantage of a tinyurl over a QR code?
