    Hello everyone:

Florida State Animal Response Coalition (www.flsarc.org) is bringing ZOOM video training to you. You can be anywhere
in the country or world and take this interactive and fun-filled online course. It will be broken up into two 4-hour
sessions next weekend, 12-13 September, beginning at 5 PM Eastern Standard Time

This class is certified by the state of Florida and FEMA-approved. It is the only certified course being taught nationwide
which prepares potential disaster responders for working in animal shelters, supporting temporary sheltering, and assisting
communities with hoarding and cruelty cases.

Anyone can join FLSARC and volunteer after completing this basic-level entry course. Two years ago we posted
course information and were able, for the first time in the history of our program, to host at least two international
    students!

To find out more, go to https://www.flsarc.org/training-level-1 to learn what the course will cover.

Excellent course and worth your time.    I'm interested in connecting with others who are working to bring disaster preparedness for pets & livestock to their states, especially in Michigan.  Cathy Ruprecht, President, Quindecim Pet & Livestock Disaster Response Team℠, 501(c)(3).

If any organization, whether municipal, NGO, public or private, is interested in having our full scope of training brought
to your community, we would be happy to discuss how to make that happen. We recently completed two out of state
trainings in Oklahoma (online Level 1, In person Level 2 and Train the Trainer) and Virginia (in person Level 1 and Level
2). Both states have been repeat visits for us, while we also completed training in Georgia earlier this year.

This program helps communities understand how to set up temporary pet friendly sheltering so they can better prepare
for their needs and help meet the requirements of the PETS Act of 2006.

If you are interested in having any training, please contact our program manager, Jeremy Hillengas, via email
    at flsarc@spcaflorida.org, or call 863-577-4602.

I am currently working on this right now with my organization SAFE Pet Partners.  We are in the beginning stages and need to get our County on board which is the next step.  I have done similar work in Teton County Wyoming when I lived there.

    Good morning Eva:

Our program would love to talk with you more about our training and how we are set up in Florida. If you are interested, please reach out to Jeremy Hillengas, Program Manager, at flsarc@spcaflorida.org, or reach out at 863-577-4602. We recently traveled to Oklahoma earlier this year and provided them the full curriculum of training (Level 1 Awareness, Level 2 Operations, and Train the Trainer). They were able to host their first pilot class earlier in the year and begin training in their state. All materials and documents were turned over to them so they could
operate independently. We would love the opportunity to see how we could make this work for New Mexico.

    Steve
