    Posted 13 days ago

Hi everyone! I'm Teagan from GetBuddy. We work with rescues and shelters to help get more eyes on adoptable pets through social media, and I wanted to introduce what we're doing to the community.

Think of us as an extra social media team for your adoptable pets. Send us photos and videos, and our team will edit, create, and share the content across GetBuddy's social channels, which reach millions of viewers each month.

    Here's how it works:

    • You send us photos and videos of pets you'd like featured.

    • Our team handles the editing, content creation, and posting.

    • We share your pets across our channels to help them reach more potential adopters.

    • We map your existing adoption application into GetBuddy, so interested adopters can apply through GetBuddy while your organization continues using its own application questions and process.

    • Applications are sent directly to your organization for review, and you remain completely in control of every adoption decision.

    • We'll also give you the finished content to use on your own social channels.

There's no cost to participate. Our goal is to give rescues and shelters an extra resource for promoting their animals and connecting them with potential adopters without changing how you handle your adoption process.  If you're interested, reply here, or book time with me: Meeting with GetBuddy | GetBuddy | Cal.com

This sounds fantastic. I am a volunteer and would like more information so that I can talk about this to management.

🐾 Meet BEBOP: The Sweetest Little Wobbler!

    • Age: 12 weeks

    • Sex: Male

    • Health: Fully vetted, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines,

    • Condition Level: Moderate  CH

BEBOP – Special Needs Kitten! This adorable 3-month-old black and white domestic shorthair kitten is looking for a forever home. Bebop has Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH), a non-progressive, non-painful neurological condition often called "Wobbly Cat Syndrome." While he may tip over when excited, Bebop is full of life, completely healthy, and has a personality that will absolutely melt your heart.

    Personality & Quirks
BEBOP doesn't let a little wobble slow him down! He is incredibly affectionate, loves to purr the moment you walk into the room, and is a master cuddler. His favorite activities include chasing feather toys, wrestling with plushies, and demanding head scratches. Watching him play is pure joy-his determination and happy spirit are truly infectious.

    What is CH (Cerebellar Hypoplasia)?
CH happens when the cerebellum doesn't fully develop in utero, affecting fine motor skills and balance.
It is not a disease, it is not painful, it is not contagious, and it will not get worse over time. CH cats can live long, happy, and otherwise completely normal lives!

    Ideal Home Environment
Because of [Kitten's Name]'s unique stride, [he/she] needs an indoor-only home with a few simple modifications to keep [him/her] safe:

    • Flooring: Carpet, rugs, or foam yoga mats are highly recommended to provide traction and a soft-landing spot if [he/she] tips over.

    • Safety: Staggered steps or ramps next to couches or beds are helpful, as CH cats cannot jump well but love to climb!

    • Litter Box Setup: A large, low-entry litter box (or a modified plastic storage bin) with high sides helps him lean against the wall for stability while doing his business.

If you are looking for a unique, loving companion who will constantly inspire you with his resilience and joy, BEBOP is ready to fill your home with endless love.

    Ready to adopt?
Please contact the Humane Society of West Louisiana to schedule a meet-and-greet!

You will be glad you did!!

    Hey T eagan!

I reached out to someone at GetBuddy on 9/25 to try to figure out who signed us up and how to change account info since no one attached to the emails works at our facility anymore. I didn't receive a response. Who would be the best person to reach out to about this?

    Thanks!
