When it comes to healthcare for pet owners experiencing homelessness, the One Health clinical care model is proving to both improve access to veterinary care as well as human healthcare. Established in Seattle in 2018 in a collaboration between the University of Washington’s Center for One Health Research and Washington State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine, the One Health Clinic integrates veterinary and human primary care to benefit both members of the family. In this 1-hour webinar we’ll examine the success of integrated human and veterinary care on healthcare, homeless services, and housing, and explore how this model of care can be modified to meet the needs of your community.
