Hello all! I wanted to follow up on a conversation we had during the Summit about transport partnerships, and the shift to sending shelters being expected to do all the work and shoulder all the costs. I am working with a new partner that seems to take that approach - they wouldn't even send their transport van to help move the dogs from the airport to the shelter. My Board seems to have the attitude that we talked about, where we're so desperate to move dogs that we'll just do anything and be grateful. Please know, I AM grateful :) But I also would like to gently remind the Board that the receiving partner has a responsibility as well. Does anyone have any language or resources that might help?
