Corporate Sponsorship Levels Example

Farmhouse Animal & Nature Sanctuary shared this example of their corporate sponsorship levels that was created by their  board of directors. These levels include a monthly donation, one time donations, event and special program sponsorships.

"We are a small nonprofit and I personally feel some of the levels are a bit too high but I am attaching our levels and what is included as incentives. We have had several smaller businesses sponsor our events and programs. Currently we have a volunteer who is compiling a list of local businesses such as attorneys, financial planners, animal related businesses, etc. He will be reaching out to these businesses to ask if they would like to become a community/corporate sponsor. "

We have done well with the monthly option both with local businesses and individuals. We have only had a small handful of businesses utilize the annual donation. We also offer an inkind sponsorship to small businesses. For example we have local pet stores that donate to our pet food bank and they get their logo and link placed on our food bank webpage. We have a local tree company that comes out a few times a year to trim trees on our 6 acre property and they too get listed on our website and social media shoutouts. 

Our individual sustainable donors donate through a local foundation that match the individuals donation up to $500 per month. This is wonderful because people can donate as little as $10 a month and it is matched, so more people donate. They can do an autodebit as well.

Since sharing this we have changed some of the levels to lower $ amounts

Interesting! I haven't seen a corporate sponsorship program that implements a monthly payment format. Do you have many monthly sponsors, or do they typically renew annually? 

I personally don't mind the annual format, but monthly payments could keep the partnership at the forefront of the business' brains and get them more engaged with the organization.
