Hi Brandon, I know it's been a while but how did this turn out? My group is also trying to introduce a contract to the city shelter we work with, everything has been free so far, and we'd love any advice.

For many years now, our shelter has taken animals from the City of Bemidji pound at no charge. We have done this with no contract in place. The animals spend their impound hold at the city's facility, and we usually get them after their 5 day hold is up. Over the years, we have tried to build our partnership with the city, but haven't had much success. We believe it is time to create a contract with the city, and determine how much we will charge to take animals for them. Would anyone be able to share examples of contracts you have with a municipal agency? We are a small organization in rural Minnesota, and I would prefer examples from other small agencies. Thank you!
