Hi,

I was just wondering what was the best way to clean a stethoscope used in our ringworm isolation wards without actually ruining the stethoscope or causing cracks in the rubber.

Spraying it down with a disinfectant, like Parvoclear or Quat would help. You can let it air dry or clean it off with some gauze. We normally will just spray the stethoscope and then let it sit out over a grated sink so it can fully dry overnight.
