I would like to create a shelter within a shelter for senior dogs only.  Any ideas or help.  Would this be a good idea.  Need advice and help.  Thanks

What do you mean by 'a shelter within a shelter'? A special area for senior dogs?  A special program?

Hi! I've heard anecdotally from volunteers at the Los Angeles Animal Service's East Valley shelter that this helped their senior little dogs: The shelter built two glass "rooms"  within their lobby. One is for cats, the other for senior dogs. Each are about the size of a living room with a fun-shaped hard plastic (sterilizable) couch in it.

If you Google search for "East Valley Animal Shelter" and click on "photos" the first photo is a view from their intake desk showing the glass rooms, photo below, but there's a also 27 second video looking in to the room too.

I can't remember where I buried this image. Sorry for the inconvenience!
