i think we all know the obvious companies who offer Grants for animal welfare, but why is it so difficult to find other Grants?

Hi Kar - It is difficult to find funding, and animal welfare is its own niche. Have you tried searching https://www.animalsheltering.org/grant-listings or the Foundation Center (https://grantspace.org/)?
