TODAY'S THE DAY TO CELEBRATE FOSTER WINS!

"Go Ahead. Keep that Foster." That's the message we're spreading starting today through May 10! The goal of the Foster Win campaign is to convert animals in foster homes into adoptions. It's time to celebrate these WINS and change the narrative of "foster fail" into something positive.  

As an added bonus, anyone who adopts their foster pet from May 7-10 will get to use the Best Friends Vet Access app for FREE until August 31, 2020.

We started a little early but I want to inspire others. As a large municipal shelter we had over 200 dogs in foster while we were closed to all but emergencies. As we prepared to reopen we sent out an email asking if the foster caregivers wanted to keep or return their fosters so we could make a plan to bring them back in a staged manner. To our surprise nearly everyone wanted to keep or had already rehomed their foster dog. Our 207 fosters now are 31.
