Once the plastic pans are clean and dry, you can spray them with a spray can of "FOR PLASTIC"paint. Works well, lasts wells. Lay a tarp down, outside, no wind. Wear a mask. I've used this:

We frequently use these black collapsible wire crates with plastic pans in our shelter and foster homes. I wondered if I could get cleaning tips for both, the wire, and the plastic pan. Several of the bottom pans look terrible after years of use. I have tried different soaps and cleaners, brush and scotch brite with no good results. They still look dirty.
