I have a chihuahua Pomeranian mixed. Her name is Cutie and she has dry flaky skin by her tail, what can I do to help her stop itching? 

Have you checked her for fleas? That is a common spot for flea infestation to show up.

Yes I did and she doesn't has fleas, she has dry skin that's all ,thanks a lot though, was told to use oatmeal shampoo

One of my past chihuahuas had an issue with dry, itchy skin. We ended up purchasing a dog shampoo that used oatmeal as an ingredient and it cleared up almost immediately. I recommend looking for products like that! 

Thanks, i thought of that too but wasn't sure so I got her some dandruff shampoo for dogs it helped a little but after a few days she was back flaky. My co-worker is an animal rescuer and he also told me to get oatmeal shampoo. I found one by Burt's Bee's it's 99.7% natural im gonna try that

Try rubbing coconut oil (the cooking oil type) on it 2-3 times per day until it gets better. A little goes a very long way.
