We are searching for a new shelter manager and need suggestions on how to find a new manager in a state with a limited pool of experienced applicants.

Could you reach out to seek out of state applicants? Maybe a job searching app like Indeed would help? That's what I was using to job search recently, and I moved two states over for the job as a result!

We are located in the state of Arizona and are members of the Arizona Alliance of Non-Profits, they post jobs there.  I have not posted because I can usually hire from within (140 volunteers and only funding for 3 part-time staff right now), but I've seen other animal organizations post their jobs with the Arizona Alliance of Non-Profits.
