I organize a regional (CA) one day conference that's now in its 15th year. Our audience is mixed: foster-based groups, municipal shelters, and a few larger nonprofit shelters. Since our time is limited to one day, I like to find content that will be of very high value to attendees. We do follow-up surveys to gauge general interest on broad topics (behavior, shelter medicine, fundraising, etc) and I'll be looking to those once again this year, but I'm curious to hear from others:

What topic would you love to see on the agenda for a conference?

    OR

What session have you attended in the past that was of particularly high value to you/your group?

Hi Sara!  I really loved the breakfast session at the most recent HSUS Expo with multiple round tables hosted by one or two experts in the topic and about 20 minutes to share ideas and ask questions.  There was only time to attend 2, and I love both that I chose: Capacity for Care and Keeping Pets in their Homes.
