"As with yesterday's webcast, my mind was blown several times."  So writes one of the inspired viewers.

Kristen Hassen-Auerbach has a way of doing that.

If you, too, would like a similar jolt of innovation and motivation, watch Part 2 of her 2-part series:

Loved the webcasts! Not sure if I missed this but I had some questions on the long-stay tasks. What is a saturday 30 day party, "Champion" and PPNY/FoP?

    Thank you!

@KristenAuerbach @SAguilar Can you answer this question from the Lifesaving Protocol for At-Risk Dogs Part 2 webcast? Thanks!

Hi and thank you so much for your patience!  Sarah Aguilar sent us this response:

A 30 day party is a public playgroup for dogs at PACC over 30 days, but it’s customizable!  You could host an event highlighting all of your 30 day + pets, include party favors, music and turn it into a celebration!  We do live videos from playgroup, and waive adoption fees for pets adopted straight from the play yard.

Champions are staff or volunteers that agree to be an advocate for a pet.  This can include creating marketing material, updating photos, training basic commands, being a point of contact for potential adopters, creating a public profile, and helping to identify outcome opportunities.

PPNY/FoP are acronyms for PACC Pets Need You, which is a volunteer facebook page for urgent pets, and Friends of PACC, which is the nonprofit partner of Pima Animal Care Center.  The more networking and exposure a pet can get, the better chance that the right person will find them!

Are the slides available for these 2 sessions?  In part II, I don't believe all the presentation slides were covered and it was mentioned in Chat that the slides would be made available.  Thanks so much, fantastic sessions!!
