MissionFeeding Pets of the Homeless believes in the healing power of companion pets and of the human/animal bond, which is very important in the lives of many homeless. They find solace, protection and companionship through their pets. They care for their pets on limited resources so they themselves have less. Our task, nationwide, is to feed and provide basic emergency veterinary care to their pets and thus relieve the anguish and anxiety of the homeless who cannot provide for their pets.

We collaborate with other nonprofits.  We have four programs that are free to the homeless.  If you have or find homeless with pets that need our help please have them call our headquarters at 775-841-7463.  We take calls 24/7

    Hi Marissa,
Thank you for all you do in your community.  Be sure to send homeless our way before treating their pets.  We have to pre-approve an exam and treatment and do an in-take interview with the person to verify homelessness.
