Hi! Looking for information regarding 501c3 humane societies & rescues who provide owner requested euthanasia as part of their services.
- Do you have specific criteria that have to be met before providing this service?
- Do you limit the amount of pet owners supported each year?
Veterinary costs in our area have increased so much that community pet owners have voiced a need for support in this way. While we've never offered euthanasia services to anyone outside of staff in the past, I would love to hear from organizations who may have experience in this and how it's worked/hasn't worked.
