Do any of your organizations offer tuition reimbursement (either full or supplemental) or have vesting programs related to education? For example, we're looking at models for how we could consider helping employees who are interested in becoming certified veterinary technicians or similar types of vet/animal welfare ed. We're trying to be thoughtful about how we might structure a tuition reimbursement or vesting program that would allow them to get reimbursed at a higher percentage for 2, 3, or 4... years of service. Have you tried it? Interested too? How is your org set up for it or are they thinking of structuring it

I would love to hear more about this, I think it could really help with retention

We've considered doing this as well. I know we have the same licensed technician struggle all over the PDX area! Our thoughts were to provide scheduling flexibility and some financial support in exchange for two years of service in that position after the program completes. We haven't started this yet, so very interested in hearing what others have to say!
