  • 1.  Which press release service do you like/use for National exposure?

    Hi everyone! Looking into press release services/sites and trying to figure out which one is best for National exposure and that is easy on the budget. If you use a press release service/site, I'd love to hear from you! Which one do you use? What do you like and what do you not like about the service?

    Great question, @Caroline Laxton. We use Meltwater but it's not the most economical. I found this article that may help you. I wonder if any colleagues have used any of them? https://www.thesmbguide.com/free-press-release-distribution-services

    Definitely a great question! We've used pr.com, prlog.org and issuewire.com in the past with decent results -- of the three I think I hear more good stuff about prlog.org. I've also heard that www.ereleases.com is a lower cost option in the paid tiers because they send via PR Newswire but bundle a batch of releases to reduce the cost to consumers.     Oh my gosh thank you for asking this, And thank you @Brittany Ransonet for sharing that article, it's awesome.

    Couldn't be more timely as we are building up excitement over our next fundraiser.

    I'm curious to know what kind of results people see from using these services? Is it still a valid way to send news around or has social media replaced it?
