I am researching a startup concept to help dog owners with the challenges they face obtaining and keeping home/renters insurance while also helping provide better access to professional training resources in an effort to reduce the risk of dog bites and dog-related injuries. I'm trying to find out how often insurance is the driving factor for owner relinquishment. I know there are some general stats available but wanted to see if anyone here knew of a more specific data set/resource or had any experiences they'd be willing to share.
