The National Kitten Coalition Veterinary Conference is happening October 2, 2022 and is actively requesting proposals from speakers in the veterinary community.
This conference will be RACE accredited so we are looking for speakers who are Veterinarians, credentialed Veterinary Technicians and those doing Veterinary Research. The kitten-centric topics are completely open, however some presentations that have done well in the past include:
• Kitten Nutrition
• Congenital and Early Development Abnormalities
• Treatment Cocktails for Pediatric Kittens
• A Staged approach to treating Ringworm
• Feline Fix By Five: Pediatric Spay/Neuter
Potential topics we're seeking for 2022 might include the above, plus:
• Neonatal Isoerythrolysis
• Early Behavioral Development and socialization
• Emergency medicine for Neonates+
• Orphaned Kitten Stress Response
• Optimizing your practice for more kitten patients
• Shelter medicine and kitten protocol
• Additional topics
Have you noticed trends in kitten care changing? Do you have a best-practice that has made a significant difference in the outcome of your kitten patients? The NKC would love to give you a platform to share your findings.
