I am wondering how many shelters, which shelters, are solicited to accept parrots? How often does it occur? Do you as shelters have resources if solicited? What kind of resources do you have? I ask this as I know that birds especially (canaries, finches, parrots and more) are the third most-owned pet in the United States and wonder what kind of support is needed to help organizations that are solicited?
