Thank you Maddie's Forum for the June 2023 Resource Grant!  Our group used part of it to fund a software enhancement to our transport software Doobert; we use this system to prepare our transport roster and Run Sheet.  The changes streamline our intake process and integrate with their Case Management Module to collect the medical records and transfer them to our receiving partners that use Doobert.

Maddie's Forum has become a regular part of my rescue-focused volunteer life (after retirement!!!)

These links are wonderful.

    Happy new year everyone!

We were so excited about the September 2023 Resource Grant when it was announced. And we're still excited!  We've used part of the funds to create a play area off of four intake kennels (each dog has an exterior kennel). We're now able to  have the dogs in those kennels come directly out into the play area without having to run the hallway gauntlet. Our first efforts have paid off with gold: We have two siblings who came in together after being in the woods with three other dogs. The other, older dogs were quickly adopted out, but these two are extremely shy. The two are on opposite ends of the spectrum for shyness, both run away, but the little girl is timid on approach, the boy barks and growls. The play yard allows them both to come out into the play area on their own terms. On his own, with no humans in sight, it took Ajax 15 minutes to just step out of the kennel.  On his fourth trip out, with his sister, he was doing zoomies and coming closer and closer to me. I can now pet Wendy, and Ajax, who barked his head off the first time Wendy came to me for petting, now approaches and touches his nose to my hand. We're getting there! And its thanks to Maddie's Fund. Getting the Resource Grant is making a world of difference at the Potsdam Humane Society. Thank you!

The weekly monday talks are very informative.  Many times I come to the forum to find ideas for fundraising that others post.  A great tool.

Hello, we want to express my heartfelt gratitude for the mention. Maddie's Forum has proven to be an invaluable treasure trove of resources for small grassroots non-profits like Life of Kai over the years. Despite our limited manpower and a plethora of community programs to manage, the efficiency gained from avoiding redundant efforts has been instrumental, thanks to Maddie's Forum. We've gleaned invaluable insights from the collective experiences of everyone involved, and in return, we're able to contribute our own stories of both success and failure. The spirit of cooperation and connection is truly the driving force behind progress. Without it, we wouldn't be where we are today. We are truly grateful to be part of this community of greatness and look forward to continue to be both recipient and contributor in the new year.
