Earlier this week, you may have read our post celebrating the top content and members of 2023. The forum has grown by leaps and bounds over the past year and we have all of you to thank for contributing valuable content. We shared a list of our top 10 contributing members in that post and wanted to go a step further today to reward our top 3 members with a surprise gift. Before I share that, you should know that we defined top members as the members who had the highest number of discussion posts, replies, and resource library uploads in 2023.

• #2 Contributing Member:  $300 grant to @Lisa Burns, Farmhouse Animal & Nature Sanctuary in Myakka City, FL
• #3 Contributing Member:  $200 grant to @Maggie Thomas, Red Stick German Shepherd Rescue in Baton Rouge, LA

What a wonderful surprise!! You have no idea how much we appreciate it. We just had an emergency vet visit this morning that cost us $1038. This grant will help us cover that unexpected cost! Thank you all so much. We love Maddie's Pet Forum. I have learned so much and have enjoyed seeing what others posts about what has worked or not worked for them. Even though we are a farm and exotic animal sanctuary/rescue we find we have a lot of the same challenges as most cat and dog rescues. It is nice to know we are not alone in this journey.

Congrats 2x, Lisa! You won the December 2023 Resource Drive drawing yesterday too. Just goes to show that you and other forum members CAN win more than once. I think 2024 is your year! (Maybe it's time to buy a lottery ticket?! LOL)  Thank you for everything you do for the people and animals you help!
