Good afternoon Mike, I appreciate your in depth effort at organizing your events and making them more streamlined and efficient for clients and yourself. Here in Fort Worth we only have two companies that put these vaccinations out for the entire community. There are many veterinarian places, but these two companies keep the costs low, but they are very inefficient. And rotate through their staff like a mary go round, that in itself is not cost cutting and a waste of training, time and effort all on its own.
I'm looking to build rapport with Veterinarians and build partnerships to get this off the ground. My email is nancylramirez217@yahoo.com and cell is 817-304-7221 Thank you!

Subject: Do any of you have advice on hosting a vaccination clinic ?
We conduct a drive through vaccine clinic twice a year and provide 2,200 to 3,400 vaccinations in a 4 hour period.
I really wanted to utilize the drive through method so the animals and the people never left the vehicle. Through our public spay/neuter clinics and when I called around to other organizations to question them on vaccination clinics they were all scheduling appointments at the shelter and had people waiting in line with their animals and it just seemed like a very uncomfortable, inconvenient, unsafe, and inefficient way to do this. So I decided that if we could make it to where people never left their vehicle and had multiple stations so they did not feel like they were just waiting in line then they could enjoy the comfort of their vehicle with the heat/AC, radio, etc to keep them occupied.
So here is what we do. We have vehicles come in through two lines. We will have 10-20 "writers". These volunteers will gather all of the personal information on the owners and the animals. They will give the paperwork to the vehicle and they will go to the next station. The next station ar the "money collectors". I only have two people collecting money and one assistant with each one who issues rabies tags. The person collecting money quickly asks which vaccinations they want on each animal and explains any vaccinations they do not understand. The money collectors mark which vaccinations they choose on the forms and writes the rabies tag numbers for each animal and the amount paid on each animal (Cash only). IF there are multiple animals then the rabies tag person will put the animals initial on the back of each tag One important point - Writers only write in black and Money people only write in blue that way when they get to the next stop they know if they have paid or not.. The rabies tags and the paper are given to the vehicle and they are sent to the next station. At the next station a volunteer will direct the vehicle to one of 4 lanes based on the number of cars in each lane. When the vehicle gets in the lane another volunteer will take the paperwork, verify payment has been made and then takes the paperwork to the vaccine table. At the vaccine table a volunteer will provide the volunteer with the vaccines on the form and the volunteer will return to the vehicle and stand beside the vehicle and wait for a vet tech or veterinarian to administer the vaccinations. Once the vaccinations are administered the vehicle will exit the parking lot though designated lanes and their paperwork will be emailed to them in 4 - 8 weeks. If they need paperwork sooner they can contact the shelter and we can pull the paperwork from the stack and email a copy sooner. It just takes a while to get everything entered into the system; however, they do leave with their rabies tag.

I'm located in Fort Worth, there are two veterinarians in this town that service the community. However, they can't keep up. They are always super backed up. As in you can be in line for 2.5 hours or more. People are starting to care more about their pets.
My hope and dream is to expand out into less serviced towns near by
