    Good Afternoon,

Our foundation has a blog on our website called The Crash Cart. We address topics that are commonly discussed in emergency care and found on emergency estimates. The purpose is to provide owners with a better understanding of what is happening with their pet,  why the charges are being recommended and what exactly they are paying for. Our goal is to empower responsible ownership and increase efficiency in practices through communication. So far topics include bloodwork (CBC/Chem panels), radiographs, nasogastric tubes, and general anesthesia. As this blog develops, topics will include topics on different emergencies such as GDV, Foreign Bodies, Hyperthyroid, etc.

Our team consists of experienced veterinary nurses that contribute to the blog and will continue to do so, but we are looking to see if any other nurses would have interest in contributing! There is no set timeline as to when these posts are published - as we are understanding how busy being a veterinary nurse is.

If you would have interest in writing a brief article on a topic to contribute to our blog, please feel free to reach out directly!
