I'd have a table sign that says "Ask us about Fostering (or Volunteering)" thats on display! 

That's what we do when we have combo events with our foster team. 

To raise higher donations at events; we invested in a spin wheel on amazon; put together all donated items we can't specifically use within our shelter and then we put it as items on the spin wheel. $3 for 1 spin, $5 for 2. It's been a HUGE hit since we started doing it about 2-3 years ago. Regular pop up events we make 1/200$ with it. Bigger festivals we tend to make 1k a day! If we can't use the items; we're just turning it into financial donations we can use on things we need.

We also search all events within 1-1.5 hours within our area and we seek out the larger events first to try to get into to maximize our efforts then we look into anything that sounds fun/appealing/would be a good fit and reach out and ask to attend. 

These are our next 2 events. I am hoping to rather than fundraise work on getting more fosters and volunteers. Any ideas or suggestions as to how to get more people involved.

Thank you! I completely understand how you feel. Since we started our organization, we've also been asking for donations and volunteers, and after three years of trying to survive, it can feel lonely at times. I'm glad you shared this idea-I think I'll incorporate it into our events as well.
