    Hello lifesaving community,

On different Maddies'Conversations and various webinars, the subject of applying for grants comes up.  In my capacity as the Grant Professional Association SC Chapter board president, I think a useful tool to share is a Grant Readiness Checklist.  Many applications require organizations, and nonprofits to provide these components. Not every grant will ask for them but this is a comprehensive list that would serve well for state, county, federal, and foundation grants. Share it with your boards. It is extremely helpful to get your ducks in a row. Writing the narrative or needs statement is often the last mile.

Best of luck to you all in your lifesaving of animals we all cherish!
