I'm from Hockeytown, so I was definitely intrigued, too! Might be worth contacting some minor league teams and seeing if there's a partnership opportunity there. You could contact the NHL teams too, of course, but you'll probably have more success with the minors, and New York has a ton to choose from!

Standard pucks are just rubber, so I don't see a reason they wouldn't be safe, as long as they're not too small for the dog, of course, otherwise I could definitely see it being a choking hazard.

A visitor to our shelter commented that his last dog loved to chew hockey pucks and the puck stood up to heavy chewing. Made me wonder, of course, If pucks are safe options for chewing dogs. Any ideas on that?
