  • 1.  Improving Pet Bios w/AI rewrite tool

I'm a volunteer writing cat bios for my shelter. After a while, they all started to sound the same, so I started putting my bios into an AI rewrite tool and have been very happy with the results. I'll do a quick draft with my basic cat traits and copy it into the online tool and voilà - a new improved bio. Sometimes, I just use sentences or specific words but it has really helped to add some variety to our bios. I use Grammerly's free online version. Just search for AI rewrite and multiple options will pop up. I hope this is helpful to my fellow bio writers.

I recently started doing the same thing with many of our dog adoption bios. I did feel I needed some fresh approaches and with all the other tasks I do in our rescue I thought I would give this a go as a test. Put in all the info I had about the dog and yes, voila, a fun, eye-catching bio came back to me within seconds.  Made me want to adopt that dog myself. :)  I think with all the dogs in need we're all handling and the shortage of help particularly in our all volunteer organization, something like this gives us more time to devote to more pressing needs without shortchanging the outcome. I used ChatGPT. I love how it added something like...how wonderful that you're rescuing pups out there. I was a writer by trade as a career and was very anti-AI when it came out, but this is a great time saving tool for rescue  to help to get these dogs adopted.
