    ACCT Philly is hiring two experienced shelter veterinary technicians for new roles designed to expand the quality and scope of the medical care we can provide in our high-volume open-admission shelter: 

    Veterinary Intake Coordinator
    As a leader in the medical department, the Veterinary Intake Coordinator supports nurses assigned to medical intake and triage. They will develop efficient and effective processes to provide comprehensive medical exams and core vaccines at intake, and to provide emergency care to sick or injured stray animals. Through training and coaching, the Intake Coordinator will develop the skill set and confidence of the veterinary technician and nursing staff and provide quality assurance for medical processes.
    • Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) or board-eligible within 3 months of hire and minimum two years' experience in a veterinary practice or shelter clinic setting
    • OR, minimum of five years' experience in a multi-doctor veterinary practice, ER or shelter clinic setting with training or lead responsibilities in lieu of certification
    $47,000/annually plus benefits and paid time off

    Veterinary Wellness Coordinator
    Working with an incredible cohort of staff and contract veterinarians and a team of Veterinary Nurses to care for the over 18,000 animals who rely on ACCT Philly for care each year, the Wellness Coordinator is a crucial component of ensuring continuity of care from day to day. They serve as the support for staff and contract veterinarians and are an expert at ACCT protocol, maximizing the care the organization is able to provide for its animals.
    • Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) or board-eligible within 3 months of hire preferred and minimum of one year of experience in a veterinary practice or shelter clinic setting, ideally in a multi-vet practice
    • OR four or more years of experience in a multi-doctor veterinary practice or shelter clinic in lieu of certification$47,000/annually plus benefits and paid time off
