This is a great idea. We are a farm and exotic animal sanctuary. We don't have an adoption center where people visit daily. I'm thinking we could do a twist on your idea and ask a local pet store or other local business to host the tree for us. We could list needed items on one side that people could purchase at the pet store and a QR code to our donate page on the other side.

Subject: Kitten Season Angel Tree brings in donations!
We just launched a new appeal to help raise item donations for our busy kitten season. This was very simple to put together with very low expenses. I purchased a white birch, LED lit tree from Amazon, since it is summer and I didn't want to put up a Christmas tree. We cut out pink and blue kitten head shapes with our wish list and a QR code on one side, and individual kitten photos with their names and ages on the other. The Kitten Angel Tree is super cute in our front lobby, near the main entrance to our shelter. We created a flyer explaining the angel tree with a QR code to our Amazon and Chewy wish lists. We created social media posts, which have been very well received and shared a lot. I have include photos below!
