We are working with the local city council and police department to find a new shelter location for our community. Our current shelter building is over 60 years old and it is near the water treatment plant, a stench that is really difficult to work under. I want to suggest a task force to discover parts of our city where a shelter would best be served. Has anyone put together a task force for this purpose? If so, who are the professionals you sought to make good decisions for a new shelter location? Thank you.
