    Hi Everybody,

I'd like to introduce myself as founder and our 501c3  non profit organization, All About the Animals Foundation. Our purpose is to assist families who are financially constrained when their pet needs immediate medical assistance. I worked as a veterinary ER/ICU nurse for six years, with experience in oncology and I now run a financial consulting business. Our board consists of veterinary and financial professionals, bringing a unique dual perspective on the needs of pet owners and the complexities of financial planning. Our program directors are veterinary nurses and our goal is to be of resource to owners, in and out of the clinical setting. Inspired by years of firsthand experience in emergency veterinary care and the growing number of families unable to afford urgent treatment, our foundation is committed to being the financial safety net that saves lives.

We are currently based out of Connecticut, partnered with our local ER/Specialty hospital and a local general practice, with program directors working at both. Our goal is to further develop and implement our program per hospital and state.  Our next direction will be Massachusetts, New York and Pennsylvania to start (given we have connections in each state). I'd love to talk with anyone in this line of work and am always open to being of resource to one another!

Hi! Saying hello from New York here - We are a cat rescue based in NYC and love to hear about this - we recently were helping a woman who ended up with 20 cats in her home get the care she needed. Everyone in the home was unemployed and we stepped in to help with spay/neuters, fosters, etc.. .however once of the cats had urgent medical needs and the struggle to get her an appointment for him to be seen was so disheartening! Would love to learn more about the work you're doing

    Hi Farrah,

I'd be happy to talk more about our mission and learn more about yours. That sounds like a very unfortunate case and I can relate to feeling like you are out of resources for animals you simply want to help. I work within New York a lot in my finance business and am looking to connect with the veterinary community more. Would emailing you directly be best?
