I would love to share our Annual Report! PAWS NY is the only organization doing this work in New York City. We help vulnerable New Yorkers who are low-income and have a disability or illness that causes a barrier to care for their pets. We have a network of over 5,000 trained volunteers who conduct housecall visits to these clients in order to take dogs for walks, litter maintenance, and more.  We also have a foster and emergency care program where we foster dogs whose clients have to be in hospitals for long periods of time, ensuring their pet is cared for and they are happily reunited. This keeps clients happy that their pets are cared for, and keeps animals away from shelters. Our Substance Abuse Recovery Program helps individuals who have to go to a 30 day treatment program, and we make sure their pets are cared for during this time. We also pay for emergency veterinary care and have a PAWS NY Pet Pantry. I am happily sharing our annual report to show more. Thank you! https://pawsny.org/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/PAWS-NY-Annual-Report-FY-2023.pdf
