Karee,
I am so sorry to hear about your dogs deemed dangerous. We have had similar things happen through the years. There is usually a very short period to file a court order asking for the decision to be reversed. That is the official, legal way to try save the dogs.
In my experiences, the law is not on their side. We have had innocent dogs euthanized because people who do not know them or the circumstances (and who do not care to learn or hear) decide the dogs should be killed.
Most places are having trouble finding rescue for dogs that are highly adoptable. We had no luck finding a rescue to take our beloved "dangerous" dog.
The out of state fix is because each state has different laws and some do not have "dangerous dog" categories. You might try networking with people you know out of state by sharing pics of them and asking for adopters.
Lastly you might share in some shelter groups. Here is a good one, but you may get some backlash- we did when we asked for help with ours (people shamed us for worrying about 1 dog deemed dangerous when other 'perfect' dogs couldn't find homes).

Good luck to you. I hope you can save them. Out of curiosity- what state are you in. (I am in Ohio on the state line of West Virginia). What kind of dogs are they?

Our pound has two dogs that attacked a calf, and the court has deemed them dangerous and requires them to be re-homed out of state (they are in VA), or the will be euthanized.
They previous lived with other dogs and people and did fine. They are not allowed back with their owner due to their attack on farm animals in the community.
Does anyone know of rescues that take in dogs in a situation like this?
