UBC Animal Welfare Program researchers want to learn more about the decision-making process that leads to rehoming. This research will help us understand how we can support pet owners throughout the rehoming process, whether owners choose to self-rehome or surrender their animal.
We are still looking for survey responses (particularly from folks who have surrendered their animal to a shelter). We would be so grateful if you could share our survey in your network or post a flyer up in your shelter facility.

Those who complete the survey are eligible to enter a draw for one of four $25 gift cards! It will take around 15 minutes to complete.
Participants must be:
- 18+ years of age
- Have rehomed at least one (1) animal in the past 5 years
