Has anyone ever hired a process analyst to assist in identifying issues and suggesting policy/procedure improvements at their shelter?
Our shelter does really good work we are all very proud of. The base staff has been there a long time and are overall hardworking, and knowledgeable but the culture among them is extremely drama-based.
This has been the culture for a very long time. Many things have been tried to break the cycle, with the exception of cleaning house and starting over.
Does anyone have suggestions or experience with hiring an outside source to assist?
Any ideas would be helpful.
Thank you.
Ps. Hiring new staff in our area is extremely challenging, and we end up even more stressed and overwhelmed which makes things worse.
