We are in the process of building a new shelter and we were thinking about making room sponsorships available. Has anyone here done anything like that ? If so, what would I good price range to start with, and how long should  a sponsorship term be  ? Any advice will help .

Hi Shawn, Cat Adoption Team in Sherwood, Oregon does this. My family sponsors a cat room in memory of my daughter, it's $500 for a year and there is a plaque on the wall next to the room. I know lots of shelters do this, I've also seen places that do individual bricks engraved with a message. I think it's a great way for people to support your work while also honouring a loved one.

    Hello,

WAGS Pet Adoption has done this three times for three different reasons. Once, it was legacy funds; second, a family chose WAGS for a loved one that passed away, and WAGS was the recipient of the gifts from family and friends and last one was for the fundraiser WAGS to Riches Event we hold every two years. We say that it is for a year, but once the name is there, we do let it stay as part of our story, sometimes longer than a year. Also, WAGS doesn't get $10k donations often.  The room naming is $10k or more. The names have been Meryl's Manor, Ketchum Cafe, and Greenberg Acres.

    Hope this helps
